Odom Family Downsizing #4
When the Odom family once again found themselves preparing for a major transition, they turned to a familiar partner. This marked the fourth auction Worley Auctioneers has conducted on their behalf — a testament to the trust and confidence built over years of successful outcomes.
Situation:
Tim & Rita Odom’s Phase 4 Auction took place in 2024 following the passing of Rita’s father, as the family helped their mother downsize from a high-maintenance rural farm. This marked the fourth auction Worley Auctioneers has conducted for the Odom family — a continued reflection of the trust built through consistent results and steady guidance during major life transitions.
Solution:
In addition to household furnishings and farm equipment no longer needed, Tim & Rita included one of their own boats and a large collection of Case pocket knives and other collectibles. With 363 lots spanning multiple asset categories, Worley’s professionals invested more than a week in detailed photography, cataloging, and market research — presenting each item strategically to maximize bidder interest and realized prices in the online auction environment.
Outcome:
A total of 141 bidders competed across multiple asset classes, driving strong results throughout the auction. Highlights included a John Deere tractor selling for $25,230, a 2007 Glastron boat for $8,760, and rare Case pocket knives realizing up to $432 each — continuing a proven track record of performance for the Odom family.
