Payment & Shipment

Online Auction Payment:

REGISTRATION DEPOSIT: Worley Auctioneers requires a $25 registration deposit by Credit Card prior to bidding in order to participate in any auction. The $25 is NOT CHARGED, it is merely held by your Credit Card Company for the length of up 3 to 7 days. The $25 is Authorized Only, if you make purchases on an auction you will not be charged, this is a complete separate transaction and you will have no charges against your account. This however may show up as a pending transaction on your account. This is an Industry Standard Practice among Internet Auctioneers.

PAYMENT METHODS: Cash or Major Credit Card Only – Visa / Master Card / Discover / American Express.  For “big ticket” purchases, you can pay by wire transfer.  If you anticipate paying by cash or wire transfer, you must send an e-mail to the Auction Manager before the auction is scheduled to close, and such e-mail must include 1) your bidder number; and 2) your method of payment.  Otherwise, your purchases will be charged automatically to the card on file after the conclusion of the auction.

BUYERS PREMIUM: A 10-20% buyer’s premium will be added to each purchase.  This amount varies by auction, so always refer to each Auction’s Terms for details.  Typically real estate has a 10% buyer’s premium, and most personal property has a 20% buyer’s premium.  For example, if you bid $100.00 on an auction with 20% buyer’s premium, you will be charged a total of $120.00

TIME OF PAYMENT:Your credit card will be automatically charged for your full invoice amount at the conclusion of the online auction.

TAX: Local sales tax will be added to your Invoice when applicable.  Please refer to the Auction-specific Terms.

Real Estate Auction Payment:

Real Estate auction payment will be dictated by each specific auctions terms.

Time Of Payment: a percentage of the purchase price will be required the day of the auction. Please refer to the specific auctions terms for exact payment info.

Shipping information:

Worley Auctioneers & Appraisers does not ship items.
However we do recognize that many bidders will be in need of a shipping service.
As a courtesy to our bidders in need of a shipping company our auction managers will provide a few options for local shippers in the area of each particular auction.
Bidders may arrange shipping / moving with the company of their choosing.
Be sure to have the Lot numbers and information on all of the items you plan to bid on so they will be able to give you an accurate estimate for moving or shipping.  After you have won your items you will need to fill out the 3rd party release form. You must provide the completed form to the auction manager via email, as well as the person that will be in receipt of your items. No items will be released to a third party without a copy of the third party release form and proper Identification.

Once items are released by the winning bidder to a third party, such as a shipping or moving company, Penny Worley Auctioneers & Appraisers, Inc., assumes no liability.
